Patient education under supervision: topics related to patient safety, non-manipulation of connections, patient justification regarding informed consent for treatment procedures
Patient training during discharge: training on how to take medications, self-care training, when to visit to follow up on overdue test results, giving risk symptoms form to patients exposed to infection (such as purulent discharge, local redness and swelling, opening of sutures, heartburn, Urinary frequency, etc.), explaining the patient about the data plan.
Maternity ward
Training upon arrival and before the operation: welcome, fasting, sleeping on the left side, raising the bad sides, introduction of the midwife and the doctor, type of disease, department, location of Qibla service, explanation of the news bell, call bell for the nurse or midwife
Post-operative training: not to eat anything, explaining how to use the news alarm and nursing call bell in case of RBR with the service force, breastfeeding training, training on care of the operation site
Training during discharge: how to take medicine, what foods to eat, advice to walk, if there is pain and bleeding, to go to the doctor and hospital, follow up on pathology results and overdue tests, taking care of the operation site and personal hygiene.
E/ENT ward
Training upon arrival and before the operation: physical space, high bed rails, introduction of the doctor, introduction of the nurse, fasting, explanation of the treatment process, introduction of the physical space of the department (service, bathroom), Qibla, type of position, call bell for the nurse
Post-operative training: diet, position, care of the operation site, high side effects, notifying the nurse when bleeding, treatment process, medicine
Training during discharge: taking medicine, symptoms and complications from the operation, going to the doctor’s office, overdue tests, next visit, diet, bathing, activity level, how to inject insulin
